We are a group of 10 dedicated volunteers embarking on a mission trip to the Philippines in the last two weeks of August.
Our Mission
Our mission is to support and uplift the local communities in Payatas, Quezon City and in Dacutan, Silay City through various activities, including:
- Assisting at local senior citizen outreach
- Provide enriching activities for children and youth (tutoring & recreational activities)
- Conducting house and hospital visits
- Enhance economic opportunities for parents through soap-making and dishwashing skills training
- Distributing physical donations (food,clothes, toiletries, educational resources)
- Spiritual Development: Sharing faith and fostering a relationship with God
How You Can Help
To help make our mission a success, we need your support. While we deeply value all forms of generosity, monetary support will make the biggest impact and help us reach more people effectively.Your financial support will help us to reach those in need and will cover the following costs:
- Educational Resources and Supplies: Books, stationery, and other educational materials
- Feeding Program: Five locations in Payatas will receive feeding programs for 100 children each and for the poor families we will visit
- Youth Program’s cost to cover (Kids & Youth): activities, materials, youth bags and toys
- Monetary contributions to assist with future community development projects
- Clothing and Toiletries: Essential items for those in need
- Transportation Costs: Many of the communities are in remote areas, so we need reliable transportation
About us
We are a group of 10 volunteers from different backgrounds and nationalities. Our team is led by two Franciscan friar priests (CFR) and the Cenacle Charismatic Prayer Group. We’ll be working with Fr. Paul Uwemedimo, MGL, and the Puso Ng Ama (Heart of the Father) foundation in Payatas. PNA helps to overcome poverty by working together to support education, personal growth, community projects, jobs, health, and housing. It brings lasting change through God’s love.
