Mission Trip to Cap-Haitien Haiti
I am Joy a high schooler recently i had the opportunity to go to Cap-Haitien Haiti and was able to see the childrens home. I absolutely fell in love with all of the children there. One little girl told us that her mother dropped her off and told her that they were playing hide and seek. This young little girl said that she is still waiting to find her mom and hopes that she will return soon. Another orphan named Steve has lived in the childrens home for the last 8 years. He is now 18 years old! Steve hopes to go to America one day and attend college. It is amazing how one short week can change your life. While I was there I had the oppertunity to paint a mural of Noah's Ark on the wall of the childrens home. Other volunteers from church project also got involved and we ended up painting the entire inside of the childrens home. The childrens smiling faces were priceless. They asked when I would come back and all I could tell them was I would come back as soon as possible. I am selling my motercycle to try to pay for the trip to Cap-Haitien Haiti. I hope to stay there for at least a month. I feel that God has called me to Haiti full time as a missionary but for now a month will have to do. I belive that I have found my purpose on this Earthand I am asking you to partner with me as I go back to Cap-Haitien Haiti in September minister to the orphans in the childrens home. I am hoping that while I am gone I will become fluent in Haitian Creole and plan on taking lessions from Clifford who lives in the mission home. Through the process I am hoping to teach Clifford English. Please pray for me and consider partnering with me as I set out to do Gods work. You are not only helping me but also everyone I help on my mission to Cap-Haitien Haiti.
