From March 2 to 12, I will be traveling to Cambodia with Pastor Scott, Pastor Matt, and a team of pastors, and I would love to invite you into what God is doing through this opportunity. While we are there, I will be serving with People For Care and Learning, an organization doing powerful work to bring hope, education, and opportunity to families in Cambodia. My role will look a little different than most mission trips. I will be using the creative gifts God has placed in my hands through photography, video, and teaching to help amplify their impact around the world. I will be documenting the beauty and the real stories behind what PCL is doing, teaching their team practical ways to strengthen fundraising through media, and training kids in computer and photography skills. My prayer is that this is not just a single moment of help, but something that leaves lasting tools behind. I believe the skills and resources shared there can help them reach more people, tell their story with greater clarity, and ultimately put more food on tables for families in need.
Most of you know how deeply I believe that creativity can change lives when it is surrendered to God. The reason I said yes to this trip is because it is not only about going somewhere new, it is about helping create ripple effects that continue long after I come home. If the work I do there helps them raise more support, share more stories, and open more doors, then the impact multiplies far beyond the days we are physically present. I have had the honor of serving on mission trips before, but I have never traveled this far or stepped into something quite like this. I am believing this experience will stretch my faith, deepen my perspective, and allow me to use my gifts in a way that brings both hope and practical change to people who need it most.
Through incredible generosity, more than three thousand dollars of this trip has already been covered, and I am so thankful. I am stepping out in faith to raise the final one thousand dollars by Sunday so I can go fully sent and ready to serve. More than anything, I would truly value your prayers. Please pray for protection and wisdom while we travel, for clear direction as I teach and create, and that what I capture would move hearts and help tell the story in a way that inspires lasting change. Thank you for always being a community that believes in using our gifts to make Jesus known both here at home and around the world. I cannot wait to share what God does through this journey.
