DEANIE: A WOMAN ON A MISSION...TRIP
Donation protected
Several of my family and friends will know that I am at Bible College and completed my first year in May of this year, 2018. Coming to Bible College is a dream come true; something I had been wanting to do since my teens, and this is it. I grabbed my opportunity as soon as it presented itself and it has been life-changing and continues to be a wonderful experience of self realisation of whom I am in Christ, and of God's revelation. I have always known that God loves me but now I know Him as Father and desire to have His purpose worked out in me.
As part of my training at Charis Bible College (Andrew Wommack Ministries Europe), Walsall we are required as 2nd year students to go out on mission, to minister and share the gospel. However, we must fund the trip ourselves in this combination of ways recommended by the college; (a) own fundraising initiatives, (b) Charis fundraising activities, (c) support from family, friends or home church and (d) personal contribution.
The fund will go towards covering the cost of travel, accommodation, meals and other incidentals. I have kick-started my fundraising exercise by having a cupcake sale at the recently held Kintsugi Hope Conference in May in Chelmsford.
There is a choice of 10 destinations, separated into 3 tiers. Three destinations are in the UK, five in Europe and two further afield in Brazil and Mauritius. Where I go will ultimately depend upon you my family and friends and I have no doubt that it will be exactly where the Lord wants me to be. I am setting the bar high at the top-tier level in the hope that your generosity will enable me to fully fund my trip and if the total raised exceeds my needs to assist Charis Missions where necessary. 75% of my mission fund should be in by the end of September and the total sum by end November 2018. Will you join and support me in trying to reach this target?
I am looking forward with anticipation to seeing how my Father's plans for me and for those that I shall be meeting will unfold. "In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths." Proverbs 3:6
Below is some further information and a 'full destination list'.

Andrew Wommack Ministries
Charis Bible College Mission Trips
Mission trips are a very valuable and important part of training for our second year students. It is Andrew’s desire for every second year student to take a foreign mission trip; consequently, taking part in a mission trip is a requirement for graduation from Charis. The purposes of the trip are to give exposure to a foreign culture, to learn how to interact with the people and how to teach through an interpreter, to deal with a demanding and flexible schedule and to cooperate with other students as a team. The mission trips have proven to be life-changing for many graduates; hundreds are born again and spirit-filled, miracles happen and the lives of many are changed by the ministry of the Word.
Each trip emphasises a different kind of ministry, depending on the host’s focus. Hosts may offer opportunities for the students to teach in Bible schools, minister though street evangelism, participate in dramas, serves in orphanages, work on community projects, teach local pastors to disciple, evangelise or minister in healing, etc.
The responsibility for raising finances lies with each individual student. Through their own initiative or through participating in organised fund-raising events, students will have opportunities to source financial support from friends, family and churches.
Mission trips are paid for in the following ways:
1. own fundraising initiatives
2. Charis fundraising activities
3. support from family, friends or home church
4. personal contribution
