Mission to Orphanages in Peru

Hi friends and family, two of my friends and I will be realizing a mission trip to Iquitos, Peru. Iquitos is the biggest city in this region and has no roads connecting to other cities it is the most isolated city on any continent. The city can be reached only by airplane or boat, with the exception of a road. We will also be volunteering in Arequipa, Peru. In Arequipa, we will be working in an orphanage with all boys with disabilities. In Iquitos, we will be working in an all girl orphanage. Both of these amazing places that are ran by the sisters and priests of the Institute of the Incarnate Word. We’re giving you the possibility to create a positive impact in these children’s’ lives. Hola amigos y familiares, dos de mis amigos y yo estaremos realizando un viaje misionero a Iquitos, Perú. Iquitos es la ciudad más grande de esta región y no tiene carreteras que la conecten con otras ciudades, es la ciudad más aislada de cualquier continente. Solo se puede llegar a la ciudad en avión o barco, a excepción de una carretera. También seremos voluntarios en Arequipa, Perú. En Arequipa, estaremos trabajando en un orfanato con solo niños con discapacidad. En Iquitos, trabajaremos en un orfanato de solo niñas. Ambos lugares asombrosos son administrados por las hermanas y los sacerdotes del Instituto del Verbo Encarnado. Le brindamos la posibilidad de crear un impacto positivo en la vida de estos niños.
