Mission to Ignite Education in Aliwal North

Hi, my name is Naomi. I’m a 2nd year student at Maynooth University and St Patrick’s Pontifical University, and this summer, I’m taking part in a life-changing volunteer mission to Aliwal North, South Africa with Mission Ignite, in partnership with the Holy Cross Sisters.

From 26 July to 2 September 2025, our team will be helping to build 4 classrooms for children who urgently need a safe, welcoming space to learn, grow, and dream of a better future.

We believe education transforms lives—but many children in Aliwal North lack even the basic resources to access it. That’s where your support can make a real difference.
