Mission to Chinese Orphanage

If you know me, you know God has blessed me with a heart for children. I have traveled the world in the past few years discovering a little more about myself and a lot about how deeply blessed we are to live in the United States. I am completely taking a leap of faith and have decided to explore international mission trips, on the hope I can serve others through Christ. The one I feel God is leading me towards is in China serving in an Orphanage in August of 2020. Foster children have always been especially close to my heart, as my own mother was adopted through the foster care system. As a first grade teacher, I see God through the eyes of my students each and every day, but I feel like the Lord is pushing me farther.
Grace and Hope for Children is committed to the care of orphaned and abandoned children, in their time of need, through the support of foster care families and the organizations that promote them. On this trip I will help serve in orphanages, loving on children that the culture has written off. The hope and prayer is to introduce foster care where it’s absent, encourage it where it’s present, and reach out to orphans in their time of need. River Pointe Church, my home church, strives to be agents of God’s Grace in the lives of Chinese orphans.
Isaiah 6:8 says, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?”
And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
If the Lord has it in His plan, I am here, and I am ready to serve. I pray that God can use me to bless these children in need. If you donate to my trip, I will be sending you a prayer bracelet that I hope you will wear while I travel in August to China to remind you to keep me and these precious children in your prayers and hearts. Thank you to my family and friends who support me more than I ever could have imagined and have quite literally pushed me towards following God's plan. The trip costs around $3000 and any additional money raised will go towards my trip. Thank you so much for even reading this, and for your thoughts and prayers.
