Dear Family and Friends.

May 28, 2015 I officially graduate high school and put a close to a 12-year chapter of my life.  Though there may be many unknown things my future holds I am excited to embark on a new journey. The start of this new journey will be spending the next six months in Cape Town, South Africa.

Back in 2014, I was asked to consider coming to Cape Town to mentor and train under Pastor Xavier Adriaanse who is the senior pastor of Coastlands Foursquare Church and is also the regional leader for the Foursquare Church in South Africa.   Needless to say, I was excited at the offer but took this opportunity to the Lord.  Back in April 2014, I began to feel this was how I was to embark on this new journey in my life.  So, June 8, 2015 I will depart for 6 months to grow in leadership, ministry, and more importantly, my walk with the Lord!

Some of the things I will be doing during this season include:

·      Participating in a one-on-one mentoring with Pastor Xavier
·      Serve on the worship team and other ministries weekly at Coastlands Church
·      Attend weekly prayer meetings
·      Minister/serve at the local schools weekly
·      Leadership/Missions trips to Botswana and possibly Namibia
·      Any other ministry opportunities that arise during my time there

Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me in two ways?

1.   Prayer – I don’t take these next six months lightly.  I want to come out of this a changed man.  My desire is to go to a new level in my relationship with the Holy Spirit, become a bolder and more confident leader, understand His call on my life to a greater depth, and be a blessing to all I encounter while on this trip.

2.   Financially – My dad once spoke a word while we were on a missions trip in Mexico that stated, “Every drop in the bucket eventually fills the bucket.  Every drop gets us closer to the miracle.”  The water turned to wine when the water pots were “full”.  One drop less, they would still be filled with water.  Needless to say, your “drop” counts.  Would you prayerfully consider partnering with me in raising the funds needed for this special time in my life?

Thank you in advance for your love and support of me throughout my life and during this time.  I am very thankful for your partnership as I walk out the things the Lord is calling me to.  May the Lord richly bless you for your prayer and financial support!

Love,
Kalani
