Mission Possible: Supporting Ashley & Family

I am Linda McDonell. I am Ashley's MacGibbon's great Aunt. Ashley's Auntie Jen Kitsul and I started the GoFundMe fundraiser in Fall, 2020 following Ashley's breast cancer diagnosis. This was a terrible shock to all of us close to her and her beautiful, young family. Ashley turned 35 this past June. She and her partner Nathan have now been together for nineteen years. They have three young boys ranging from four to nine. At the time, of her diagnosis, Ashley’s doctors estimated her treatments would last for a year to a year and a half. This changed dramatically in the Fall, 2021. At that time, Ashley's cancer was determined to be very aggressive.

We know there will be people like ourselves, looking for ways to help Ashley and Nathan and who may be in a position to contribute financially to help them manage the stress and ongoing financial pressures. For those of you who are able to contribute financially we have set up this page to accommodate donations to Ashley and her family. Any amount is welcome and appreciated.

Ashley and Nathan have expressed many times since Ashley was diagnosed how grateful they are for all the kind thoughts, good wishes and donations that people have shared. Your emotional and financial support is much appreciated and has provided comfort and confidence as they continue this unexpected and difficult journey.
