You are invited to be part of the solution in helping bring temporary housing solutions to victims of human trafficking, domestic violence, transitioning out from prison, addiction, or needing a hand-up.

Open Door Ministry -For The Broken (FTB), located in Spring Valley, CA, is a 501 (c)(3), faith-based transition home whose sole purpose is to provide safe and affordable temporary housing for women and their children.

During the women's stay, they are empowered to learn life skills, heal from their past, be reunited with family, and be encouraged to grow in their faith so that they can live productive and successful lives.

The current $35,000 project is to reconstruct 2 existing structures on the property.

Urgently needed and the first structure to be addressed is the dwelling that is currently used for storage. This will be reconfigured and remodeled into a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, kitchenette, and outdoor patio. This will be used to house 1-2 persons in each room.

The second reconfiguration is to the main house. This will afford to reconstruct the current living space into more a functional footprint and to upgrade the water heater, and windows.

Your contributions will continue this mission to help bridge the housing gap for women, their children, and young adults in the San Diego area.
