The funds are used to provide scholarship and work-study positions for up and coming dance and movement professionals. We provide 8 workshops with a master movement teacher, 11 meals so dancers can focus on their research and not their basic needs, 2 community dance classes and 1 community performance and without donations and corporate sponsorship none of this is possible.
We need the funds by March 24, 2019. It is when our workshop ends and all of the artists, organizers and tech experts will need to be paid. Most of our workshop is run on volunteer work so the expenses are low.
Your support over the past 7 years of supporting Mission Improvable has helped dancers improve their abilities. This has caused them to get teaching and performing jobs nationally and internationally. Mission Improvable also brings people together to have life long friends and make new connections.
People look forward to this event every year. They look forward to the community coming together, the knowledge of the guest facilitator and the great food! To make it happen Monica Karwan and myself Nancy Hughes do almost all of the organizing. We are only two people and we need your help to make it successful! This year we are hoping to top our last event and reach more people. We are so grateful to you to help make it happen.
