Missing Film Fundraising

Please help us raise funds to cover the many costs for creating the MISSING short film, including equipment rentals/ insurance, UHaul rental, food,  transportation, and more, as well as upcoming entrance costs for film festivals. Thank you!

Hello! My name’s Jaya, I am a Business Major at USC, and MISSING is the first short film that I have written and directed.

Growing up, I had many career plans. A marine biologist, then a doctor, then a lawyer, then a businesswoman. I went back and forth constantly, over and over again, but nothing ever quite felt right. But somewhere along the way, I fell in love with writing, I fell in love with storytelling, and I learned (and love) to connect with people through those mediums.

Now, a little too late into my college career, but with the conviction of a child negotiating for one more scoop of ice cream, I have decided to become a television writer and director. To prove it, I started Milk CarTon productions with our producer, Calvin Carmichael, and directed MISSING with the help of a fabulous cast and crew and the professional equipment we scraped together for the weekend.
