Miss Priscilla Pringle’s Cause...

Miss Priscilla Pringle’s is an apple head chihuahua.  She is only four years old.  Back in January, she was stepped on by a bigger dog.   The vet said she was suffering from a pinched nerve.  With meds we saw some improvements, however she was experiencing some wobbles and slips.  The later part of April we noticed that her head was drooping and her balance was becoming worse.  Another round of meds did not help.  I took Priscilla to a new vet and X-rays confirmed an AA lux break.  They do not do that type of surgery at this office.   A local vet that does said the cost would be around $6,000. My vet contacted the University of Florida and they could do it for a little less.  I’m asking for $4,000 to help cover cost for surgery but there will be other needs.  I’m working on those.

The alternative to surgery is to put her down.  There is no way I can afford a surgery that cost that much without the help of friends.  I’ve had many insist on creating a go fund me so they can at least try and help.  I don’t want to give up on her and Anna and Jeanie (Anna’s mom) loves her dearly.
