Miss Old Gold and Black Scholarship Pageant 2025
Donation protected
Greetings,
My name is Jenna Alexis Griffin, and I’m honored to represent Georgia State University as a contestant in the Miss Old Gold and Black Scholarship Pageant, hosted by the Zeta Mu Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated. This pageant is more than a competition—it’s a meaningful opportunity for me to showcase my passion, my voice, and most importantly, my platform: Stronger Than MS.
Stronger Than MS is inspired by my mother’s ongoing battle with multiple sclerosis—a chronic illness that affects the central nervous system, often leading to fatigue, vision loss, muscle weakness, and mobility challenges. Despite the unpredictability of the disease, my mom continues to lead with strength and grace, and it’s that same resilience I bring to my advocacy.
Through my platform, I aim to raise awareness, educate communities, and support individuals and families who are navigating life with MS. Whether it’s through organizing awareness events, creating accessible resources, or connecting people with the support they need, my goal is to ensure that no one feels alone in their fight.
But to take this mission to the next level, I need your support. Your contributions will help cover the costs associated with participating in the scholarship pageant—such as entry fees, attire, promotional materials, and travel expenses. More importantly, your donation is a direct investment in a cause that brings visibility and hope to those living with MS.
And whether I place or not, any remaining proceeds from this fundraiser will be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—a nonprofit dedicated to accelerating the cure for MS and improving the lives of those affected through advocacy, services, and research.
Together, we can amplify the voices of MS warriors, spread awareness, and inspire strength in the face of adversity.
Thank you for supporting me, my journey, and this mission close to my heart.
With gratitude,
Jenna Alexis Griffin
