Miss Mimi's Journey: From Dance to Medicine

Hey there! My name is Miranda Vensor, or as my students call me, Miss Mimi. I have this GoFundMe started because over the past year, I have been in school to learn a different way to take care of your children, in the medical field. However, I quickly realized that would take some sacrifice in my pursuit to further my career while working as a teacher. During most of the year I was in school, I balanced out teaching at 3 different dance school, along with my studies. Working those 3 schools for the past 10 months has been nothing but awesome and although I don’t get paid an insane salary from teaching, it was able to keep my bills paid until I graduated. With this specific program, I am required to complete a 6 week unpaid externship from 9-5 Mon-Friday. My last day of this externship is today 3/21 and I can honestly say the grind has been real. For the past 6 weeks I have not been able to teach, which means I have not made any money to pay my bills. I have a lot of stress going forward because although I will start getting much better and consistent pay from my new job in the pediatric medical field, I am very behind on multiple bills currently. And honestly, I am struggling to keep it together stress wise. Anything, that anyone has to offer, is so DEEPLY appreciated and will be the biggest help to me in terms of getting my life together as I step into this new chapter going forward.
