Wow jongens! Het gaat echt gebeuren! Van beats op Instagram naar een echt album! Miss Meredith is here! Ik heb afgelopen jaren te gekke muzikale dingen mogen doen, mede door mijn muziek die ik altijd in korte funky video's op Instagram postte. Het is een bizarre, fantastische wilde rit. Ik speel met onwijs lieve en te gekke muzikanten en mooie mensen. Maar door de drukte kreeg ik steeds minder tijd voor mijn eigen creaties. Het brandde en broeide van binnen en ik voelde dat ik toch mijn creativiteit moest uitten. Nu heb ik eindelijk de structuur gevonden om dit te kunnen doen! Maar wow, wat is een album maken een financiële clinch: van artwork tot videoclips, tot huren van opnamestudio s en live muzikanten/producers tot promotie, live optredens ter promotie, distributie en het echte product in handen hebben. Hiervoor wilde ik jullie hulp vragen. Een kleine donatie zou mij hard helpen om dit project tot stand te laten komen! Ik ben jullie hier eeuwig dankbaar voor!

Het ontvluchten van de controverse op de aarde is het hoofdthema van de eerste tracks van het album dat dit jaar wordt uitgebracht. Het is een reis: In het begin – frustratie, chaos, op zoek zijn naar mezelf, me afvragen of ik weg wil, dan in het midden mezelf vinden om daarna ook daadwerkelijk te vertrekken naar het onbekende. Daarnaast bestaat er een buitenaards orakel dat mij toezingt in deze reis: De Talkbox. Het idee is om dit live te loopen vanuit mij met keys en talkbox met een backing track, live drums, extra toetsen en vette buitenaardse visuals. Het is tijd om mijn vleugels uit te slaan en zelf aan de bak te gaan met mijn eigen project. Het is weird, spacey, jazzy, onverwachts en funky met de frustraties van nu verwikkeld in de teksten, de tracks zijn al een tijdje 'demo' klaar, het is tijd om deze om te toveren in album waardige tracks én het is tijd om het podium te gaan beklimmen: Welkom in de wereld van Miss Meredith.

Wow guys! It's really happening! From beats on Instagram to a real album! Miss Meredith is here! I have been able to do some crazy musical things in recent years, partly because of my music, which I always posted in short funky videos on Instagram. It's a crazy, fantastic wild ride. I play with incredibly sweet and awesome musicians and beautiful people. But because of the hustle and bustle, I had less and less time for my own creations. It was burning and brewing inside and I felt that I had to express my creativity. Now I have finally found the structure to do this! But wow, what a financial struggle it is to make an album: from artwork to video clips, to renting recording studios and live musicians/producers to promotion, live performances for promotion, distribution and having the real product in your hands. Escaping controversy on Earth is the main theme of the first tracks of the album to be released this year. It is a journey: In the beginning – frustration, chaos, looking for myself, wondering if I want to leave, then finding myself in the middle and then actually leaving for the unknown. In addition, there is an alien oracle that sings to me on this journey: The Talkbox. The idea is to loop this live from me with keys and talkbox with a backing track, live drums, extra keys and cool alien visuals. It's time to spread my wings and get started on my own project.
