Miss Marley's Vet bills.

Hi my name is Laura Muai, I am helping my friend who is a Traveling nurse and fostering this sweet little dog. Marley's owner died from covid-19 and there was no family to take Marley and her 9 year old buddy Reba. My friend Jackie, has decided to keep Reba, as she is too old to adopt out, and gets on well with her older daschound Charlie. Marley is approaching 5 years old we "think" and is in need of some major vet care. Jackie has already charged up several hundred dollars on both dogs so far. Marley is currently on antibiotics and pain meds for a very infected tooth and still needs more dental work and extractions etc. The current estimate on that is almost $1400. She also has pain in her knees and was diagnosed with patella issues that will require surgery as well, the estimate on that is over $2300, that's just for one knee ( the worst one). The other one will likely need surgery in the near future as well. I am helping with daycare and vet visits and lots of snuggles, but I already have 3 dogs myself and am not in a financial position to take on any more vet bills. She is a sweet gentle little dog, she is a 8lb pomeranian Maltese mix. The vet said that she is otherwise in good shape, strong heart and lungs and ideal weight. Considering her sad story, she is a lovely beautiful little girl, who loves walks and laps. She gets along good with my little dogs but I think she would prefer to be a one dog show, so she wouldn't have to share her human!! I would love to get her healthy and into her forever home.
