Miss Kourtney needs our LOVE as she battles cancer♥️

This story and GoFundMe fundraiser is for one of my favorite people on earth…Miss Kourtney Velazquez. Some of you may not know about my relationship with Kourtney; I was her 4th, 5th, and 6th grade teacher. I’ve loved her since she was a young girl, and my love continues as she battles cancer.

After spending 22 days in the hospital, Kourtney was diagnosed with Stage 2 Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. She is currently going through ABVD treatment (Adriamycin, Bleomycin, Vinblastine, Dacarbazine). They biopsied a lymph node during her 22-day stay, and that’s how they got her diagnosis after two previous failed biopsies. So finally, the third biopsy got a diagnosis. To say Kourtney is going through a lot is an understatement.

Her darling family—Mom, Dad, brother, and her sister-in-law (who is truly a sister at heart)—have played a significant role in supporting Kourtney through this diagnosis, treatment, and her recovery.

Why would I start this GoFundMe? Kourtney has always been a responsible woman who is working full-time, but obviously, through this health challenge, she is unable to continue to work her current job. She has been waiting for her disability to kick in, she’s now exhausted her savings, and her loving family paid her rent this month. She plans on returning to work, but in the meantime, it’s up to US TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO HELP BRIDGE THE GAP!!
