Key Largo Family Devastated by Fire Need Support
Kimmy Beerkircher, her two daughters and elderly mother evacuated their home at 6:07 Wednesday morning. They woke to the sound of the smoke detectors and emerged from their rooms to a huge blaze in the living room.
They are physically uninjured, though understandably shaken to the core. The fire comes nearly one year after the passing of Kimmy’s late son Corey.
This generous and resilient family has been through a lot in the last year. And Kimmy is the kind of woman who will do anything for someone else but doesn’t want to burden others.
Their home is unlivable so they need permanent housing. Nearly all of their belongings were destroyed by either smoke or fired.
Let’s help this Keys family get back on their feet and find some peace while they heal from both tragedies.
Kimmy is already looking for silver linings and has the most amazing attitude and outlook. She is leaning heavily on her faith and believes everything has a purpose.
Anything you can contribute would be a blessing. Thank you
