Miss G is the Bee's Knees

Hello friends, my name is Chakra Khan. I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend and neighbor Caley Johnson, who is the woman and creative force behind Miss G Designs.

Caley is an extraordinary human and talent. She is a PIONEER in the festival/headdress community. She made her 1st headdress in 2009 and has been steadily building a career and following ever since.

Last year Caley was dedicated to turning a fixer-upper on her property into an Airbnb. She spent her life savings on this project and worked on her headdresses simultaneously. As the project neared completion, she decided to take a much-needed break after tirelessly working for nine months. Caley was on the receiving end of online hate after announcing that she would not be accepting any more orders while she rested.

 

Apparently this made someone unhappy. Caley became the victim of a cyberbully. This person repeatedly made false reports on her Instagram profile. Falsely claiming inappropriate content eventually led to her being locked out of her account. There is no way to get through to Instagram as bots run it on this end to get her access to her account. Her business depends on Instagram for about 98% of its clients.

She needs the money now more than ever because her home, which was supposed to be rented out, hit major construction snags. Such as the underground power line accidentally being drilled through by an auger. A car is breaking down. So all sources of her income have ceased. There is no recovery for her Instagram account she has been locked out. So there is no way for her to reach all 109K followers that she has carefully and painstakingly been building over the last decade.

Robbed of her income source, Caley needs a hand. 10k is needed to cover past due bills immediately, the next $10k will cover her upcoming expenses while she continues to dilligently work to create a stable source of income with both Miss G Designs as well as her Airbnb.
