Miss Evie is a warm, wonderful member of our community who loves children and has a passion for helping her neighbors. On May 11th, a fire occurred in her home and caused damage to the house and her belongings.

We are so grateful that Miss Evie was out of the house at the time and that nobody was physically hurt, but the extent of the damage is still unknown. With her emphysema, she needs to be sure that all smoke damage has been cleaned. She will not be able to move back in until repairs are complete.

So we are planning for the cost of getting Miss Evie back in her home!
