We are heartbroken to share the unexpected passing of Deborah Byczkowski (Miss Dee), the beloved owner of Volta Performing Arts in Logan Square.

Miss Dee poured her heart into building Volta into a vibrant, welcoming community where dancers felt supported, inspired, and seen. She was a mentor, a leader, and a constant source of encouragement and light in the lives of her students. She shaped the lives of many dancers and families and has left a lasting impact on the community she built.

As we grieve this tremendous loss, we are coming together to support Miss Dee’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds raised will go directly to support funeral expenses and anything else they need during this challenging time.
