For nearly 30 years, Miss Cherry has been the heart and soul behind Cherry’s Costumes Galore, a local gem that’s brought color, laughter, and transformation to thousands of families, schools, churches, and community events across San Antonio.

Whether it’s a child’s first Halloween costume, a showstopping mascot for a school parade, a custom alteration for a quinceañera gown, or a wacky birthday telegram, Cherry’s creativity has made moments unforgettable for generations.

But now, Miss Cherry needs our help.

She recently suffered a serious arm injury, making it impossible to do the hands-on costuming work that keeps her small business alive. And as a self-employed artist and seamstress, there’s no paid time off, no backup crew—just Cherry, her big heart, and the support of her community.
