Hello Friends--some of you may know that I had 3 surgeries on my brain due to 2 subdural hematomas. I could not walk, text, type my password into my laptop, and my personality had really changed. Marilynn Fowler said I was no longer "feisty," so she knew there was something really wrong. Fortunately, Kevin Kirkbride, Elizabeth Skow, and Marilynn helped get me to the hospital to get the emergency care I needed. I spent nearly 2 months in the hospital and then at a post-acute recovery hospital. It was while I was recuperating that I decided to put my annual Judy Garland Christmas show on hold until next year. Your support has been greatly appreciated. Sadly, due to some problems with Medi-Cal, I accrued over $5,000 in co-pays, including ambulance rides that weren't covered, one costing over $1,200. I had a 2nd surgery, and I had to have extended post-op care, most of which was not covered. All the bills come to about $5,000. Thanks to a lot of physical therapy, I am doing much better, but the bills are mounting & i need help.
I am hoping to raise the money to help cover these expenses.
