6/19/25: Betty is at the vet today getting enemas and/or manual poop extraction of what poop she has in her that she has been unable to pass the last few days. The surgery timeline is in discussion. As soon as I have a date for her surgery I will update on here.

6/15/25 Update: Betty did pass a bit of poop after we went to get fluids on Saturday. I have started to give her very small amounts of wet food in addition to her hydration supplement and we are walking regularly in the yard to help get things moving along. The surgery I will be discussing with the vet. She is going to need it, it's inevitable I know this. I am just not completely sure when she will get scheduled for it. I will keep updating as I know. She is nearing end stage Megacolon and the surgery is going to be a must. All the funds raised here for her surgery are going on my Care Credit where they will stay until we have her surgery date. Thanks again to all that are helping our medical journey.

Friends...Miss Betty has not pooped yet. I'm going to just feed her her Hydra Care hydration supplement thru the weekend and hopefully that will help get things moving along. I'm going to get her in on Monday to our vet for the surgery. She is going to need this subtotal coloctemy surgery now at this point. I know this.

6/14/25: I was quoted $ 2,000 to $2,500 for the subtotal coloctemy which our vet said she is a good candidate for. They said if she gets blocked up again she needs this surgery. Problem is that I am so tapped out after her hospital stay in April that was almost $6,000. My cards are pretty much all maxed out with her ongoing care. We have been dealing with the megacolon since 2018 with ups and downs but more ups thru these years.

Miss Betty has such a fan base and we are humbly asking if you can help us during this time of need. We would be eternally grateful and thankful.
