Hey everyone,

My name is Honour Miller-Austin, a hardworking mom of a beautiful 5 year old boy, Benjamin. I'm currently the titleholder of Miss Juneau, in the running for Miss Alaska USA; I ran last year, placed 2nd runner up, won best interview and Miss Congeniality! Through the sisterhood of pageantry I met a wonderful woman who introduced me to the job I have now working within the Alaska State Legislature, which took my professional development to a whole new level.

My platform for this year is mental health, there are so many reasons that this topic is important to me, from growing up in foster care, to being a young mom with postpartum depression, mental health has been a huge part of my personal development. I've been thankful enough to have a sturdy support system within my family, therapist, church, and friends, to be able to reach goals I never thought possible.

In order to participate in the pageant there are many expenses attached, I've been raising funds slowly here and there, while also working 7 days a week, and finally decided to start this "gofundme" being within the final stretch.

With still needing to get my evening gown, tickets to Anchorage, and transportation while in town, I'm hoping I'll be able to get the ball rolling sooner than later! I know with the support of my friends and family, this will piece itself together and I'll be one step closer to bringing home the crown!
