Sadaqah Jariyah for Mishkat Hussain

Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) said: "When a person dies, their deeds come to an end, except for three: ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), knowledge that is benefited from, and a righteous child who prays for them."(Source - Sahih Muslim)

There is no act of charity in this life that is more lasting and rewarding than giving Sadaqah Jariyah.

Inna Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

‘We surely belong to Allah and to Him we shall return’

Mishkat Hussain, aged 34, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, 8th December 2024. He was deeply loved by his friends, family, and colleagues.

Always dignified, polite, and respectful, with a smile that could captivate any heart, Mishkat brought immense joy to our lives. He was a man of remarkable generosity, always going out of his way to help others, no matter how big or small their needs were. His dedication to his faith was unwavering, and he always strived to pray his Salah at the mosque.

While his spirit, the warmth of his laughter, his selflessness, and his smile can never be replaced, we aim to honour his memory by filling the emptiness he has left behind with worship and good deeds.

Insha'allah, we will be using the funds for either water projects and or mosque initiatives that will serve as everlasting Sadaqah Jariyah for Mishkat. May the rewards benefit him in the next life.
