Mishann's Going to Ghana!

Calling all friends and family near and far! This summer I have the invaluable opportunity to study abroad in Ghana with the University of Arkansas Nursing Program. We will be teaching health education classes around wound care, dental hygeine, infant hydration, malaria prevention and many more. I will also be working with local nurses in their hospital and clinic. I am thrilled to learn about Ghana's healthcare system and to experience their rich culture. I am most excited to see how their healthcare compares to ours and learn from their methods.
Sadly, this oppurtunity does not come cheap. I have received $2,000 in scholarships but my outstanding bill is still over $5,000. This cost includes airfare, tuition, immunizations, meals, housing and transportation while at Ghana.  I am asking family and friends for any amount of support for my trip. Absolutely anything helps and is greatly appreciated!
