As some know Stephanie and Brandon found out a few weeks ago at their twenty week ultrasound that they lost their baby girl.
Unfortunately, Stephanie’s body didn’t naturally go through the process of a miscarriage. She had to wait a week to see a doctor who would be able to perform her D&C as she was too far along for her regular midwife to do the surgery. Unfortunately, the office was unsuccessful and she was recommended to another office who could hopefully do the surgery but would not be able to see her for 3 more days putting her at almost 2 weeks of remaining in limbo knowing her baby was gone but still inside her.
Stephanie decided that labor was the only 100% guaranteed method and was an option available to her immediately, meaning she wouldn’t have to wait almost 2 whole weeks.
After all the necessary appointments, insurance is not covering about $5000 of Stephanie’s procedures, including the ultrasounds, attempted D&C, and even funeral arrangements mandated by the state.
As many of you know, Brandon lost his job at the end of 2019 and Stephanie missed out on a significant amount of income due to all of the appointments, stress, and recovery of going through this process. We would love to be able help cover some of the medical costs and lessen their emotional and financial burden.
Would you help us help them by donating towards Stephanie and Brandon’s medical costs? Whether it’s $5, $50, or $250—any amount would be huge!
