Please Help Misa Get Life-Saving Tumor Treatment
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Britt and this is my Misa. She was rescued in 2017 at the age of 3-4 years, from deplorable conditions. Found locked in a closet with her intestines hanging out of her (prolapsed anus).
The shelter she was brought to was not sure if she would make it, and they had decided that if she didn't improve, they recommended euthanasia.
But this beautiful little girl pulled through and remained happy and sweet. Seven months later, one locked closet, one shelter, one rescue organization, one foster mom, and one family that returned her after a short period of time, we were graced with her sweet face.
Sadly, because of her neglect and abuse, she was shut down. She was with us in body but not in spirit, and it wasn't until the pandemic in 2020 that she started to come out of her shell. She started to realize that she wasn't going anywhere, that she was loved and wanted, and this was her forever home.
She has loved me through everything, and I have been grateful for every day I get with her. Roughly a year ago, I lost my job, and I have had a few temporary jobs here and there but nothing permanent, YET!
So this is where I ask for help. She developed a tumor in 2022, but luckily it was benign. This past week, her tumor burst, and after the vet visit today, I was informed that before we can even discuss surgery, she needs to have the tumor addressed, cleaned, some tissue removed, and then biopsied.
The kicker is that the estimate will be $1,385.00. She is a healthy, happy, and vibrant little girl who I can't imagine losing.
So any little bit counts, and she, her little puppy brother, and I would be forever grateful. If you can't donate, can you please share?
Sincerely,
Misa-Anne Renee
