Mirrors for Ballet Adora

One day two moms were watching their daughters dance and one said, "ya know, this studio needs some mirrors. I know they are expensive...what if we do a GoFundMe?!" The other agreed and here we are...just two moms standing in front of you saying, "let's support Ballet Adora and get them some mirrors!"

Mirrors are a necessity when it comes to learning proper dance technique. The dancer doesn’t have to rely solely on feeling the correction their teacher is giving them, but can also see the proper alignment of their body in the mirror. Teachers can also see all the dancers more easily in the classroom to assist where needed. The dancers are beginning to learn their routines for the end of the year performances. It can be very beneficial while learning a new routine to have a mirror. You can see your fellow dancers around you in the mirror and dance more easily together in time with the music.

Some families are new, some families have been here awhile... in the end we all love and support Ballet Adora and are grateful for the studio they provide for our kids. We ran this idea by them and they were grateful but wanted it to be clear to all that this was not an idea presented by them. It would have been a fun surprise, but that would have been a difficult task to pull off. Running a studio has many costs and it would be a huge blessing to them if we could take care of this one for them. They recently got an estimate for the mirrors per our request from Bluegrass Mirrors and Glass. The total for the mirrors for studio c would be $3271.81 for 37ft of mirrors. This number might seem high but with as many families as we have at the studio, if each family did $10-15, we can do this!
