Mirna Sequen Memorial Fund

Hello, my name is Leonardo Sequen Valenzuela. With a very heavy heart, I am sad to say that my mother, Mirna Mireya Sequen (who also went by the name of Carmen), passed away on the 23rd of April, 2022. My family and I never expected her to go so soon. She was a mom of two boys, including my brother (Javier Sequen Valenzuela) and me. She was also a wife whom my father (Gilbert Valenzuela) cared for and loved immensely.

 

My Mom had been fighting cancer unknowingly for two years up until a month ago when sadly, we were given the news that she had colon cancer. Her cancer had progressed much faster than expected due to her being so weak at the time, and it had already entered its final stage. No matter the situation, she kept her beautiful smile up until her last moments.

 

Anyone who has ever met my mom knows that she had a huge heart. She was always full of energy and happiness no matter what. She was very caring and was just the most amazing person you could come across. We always said she had "una estrella" (a star) in her because everybody she came across loved her.

 

The Funds will go towards her memorial and other funeral services. This was all so sudden, and we were not prepared for such a thing. Anything helps. Thank you for all your support during this difficult time.
