I was diagnosed with lupus nephritis at the age of 22 in the year of 1999. Lupus is autoimmune disease which attacks the body. In my case it choose to attack my kidneys.Since then I've been in and out of the hospital with heavy medication that has given me terrible side effects and damages my body in many different ways. I was healthy most of my high school years due minimum stress and physical activity.Sadly on 2014 I relapsed terribly back to spending time in the hospital due to my condicion. My kidneys failed and was put in dialysis ,which is a machine that is hook you up to a catheter. It is a process where they remove wastes and excess water from the blood and it is used primarily as an artificial replacement for lost kidney function. I have always been a positive person, seeing myself that way I no longer felt like myself. I had absolutely no energy. Many people till this day still can’t believe I was able to overcome this ( most people who get dialysis never leave unless receiving a transplant ). I happily went on with my life and started to enjoy the simple things that I took for granted. However, Lupus is one sneaky wolf and it can remain quiet for awhile but then something wakes it up, leashing out and attacks and that's exactly what happened. I relapsed one more time and my kidneys are going into failure. Due to 10% kidney function I constantly have high blood pressure that till this day still follows me around and feels like any minute my heart can stop. Stress has been the number one cause to activate lupus and lead to my body attacking itself. I am only human, so I still go through a lot of struggle to maintain a positive outlook and have no stress, but my body reacts and the physical symptoms are there. And it almost always come in different forms. This disease has the rest of my life to mature and there is no cure for lupus till this day. I been referred to 3 different Hospital in Florida for a kidney transplant, Tampa General Hospital, East Orlando Hospital, and UF Health Shands Transplant Center. For this entire procedure I must have a 6,000 dollar goal for medication after the transplant in order to qualify. The last place I would ever think of coming to was a gofundme page but here I am. Reaching out to anyone that can come forward and help me. Not only do I want to heal myself but I want to be an example for everyone out there going through the same pain I am going through and show them that there is a way. There is a God who can make water sprout in the midst of dry deserts!

Me diagnosticaron nefritis lúpica a la edad de 22 años en 1999. Lupus es una enfermedad autoinmune que ataca  el cuerpo y en mi caso, eligió atacar mis riñones. Desde entonces he estado entrando y saliendo del hospital con medicamentos pesados ​​que me han dado terribles efectos secundarios y daños al cuerpo de muchas otras maneras. Estuve saludable la mayor parte de mis años de secundaria debido al poco estrés y la actividad física .Sorprendentemente en 2014 tuve una recaída terriblemente consecutiva pasando mucho tiempo en el hospital debido a mi condición. Mis riñones fallaron y me pusieron en diálisis, que es una máquina que se conecta a un catéter. Es un proceso en el que eliminan los desechos y el exceso de agua de la sangre y se usa principalmente como un reemplazo artificial para la función renal perdida. Siempre he sido una persona positiva, viéndome así, ya no me sentía como yo. No tenía absolutamente ninguna energía. Muchas personas hasta este día todavía no pueden creer que pude superar esto (la mayoría de las personas que reciben diálisis nunca se van a menos que reciban un trasplante). Felizmente seguí con mi vida y comencé a viajar y disfrutar de las cosas simples que daba por sentado. Sin embargo, Lupus es un asesino silencioso y puede permanecer callado por un tiempo, pero luego algo lo despierta, y se desvía y te ataca otra vez en diferente partes del tu cuerpo como los  riñones el corazón,los pulmones  y el cerebro exactamente esto es lo que me sucedido, He volvido a tener otra  recaída y una vez más mis riñones están fracasando . Debido al 10% de la función renal, constantemente tengo presión arterial alta que hasta este día todavía estamos tratando de controlarla siento que  mi corazón puede detenerse en cualquier momento. El estrés ha sido la causa principal para activar el lupus y provocar que mi cuerpo se ataque solo. Solo soy humana por lo que todavía tengo que luchar mucho para mantener una actitud positiva y no tener estrés, pero mi cuerpo reacciona y los síntomas físicos están ahí y casi siempre vienen en diferentes formas. Esta enfermedad tiene el resto de mi vida para madurar y hasta el día de hoy no hay cura para esta causa. Me refirieron a 3 hospitales diferentes en la Florida, Tampa General Hospital, East Orlando Hospital, and UF Health Shands Transplant Center. Mi Doctor estas muy convencido  que un trasplante sería mi mejor opción en estos momentos pero es el procedimiento  es largo y costosos debo tener un objetivo de 6,000 dólares para los medicamentos después del trasplante.para poder qualificar. Por la misma me acerco a ustedes que me conocen mis amigos de toda la vida que saben que jamás estuviera aqui en esta pagina pidiendo una donacion para mi bienestar ,pero aqui estoy.No estoy pidiendo una donación exagerada solo lo que puedan contribuir . No solo quiero curarme a mí misma,Pero quiero ser un ejemplo para todos los que están pasando por el mismo dolor que estoy pasando y  mostrarle que hay una manera para seguir adelante y hay un Dios que puede hacer brotar agua en medio de los desiertos secos.!!!
