My sweet mother suffered a cardiopulmonary arrest the day after Christmas. She collapsed at the grocery store while she was with my younger brother. Paramedics were called and she was rushed to the hospital. My mom went without a pulse or heartbeat for 40 minutes while they attempted to resuscitate her. They got her heart beating again and put her on life support.
Sadly she suffered an anoxic brain injury and bleeding in her brain from the lack of oxygen and her organs began shutting down. The doctors told us that she had a 1 in a million chance of making it out of this situation and if she did, she would be in a vegetative state. My family and I made the difficult decision to just let mom rest and we took her off the machine today. She passed away in our loving arms on 12/29/2020 at 3:58pm. She has gained her wings.
Please help us take my mom home (Kenya) to lay her to rest. Thank you!
