On Sunday November 17th, little Mirella Merrick, a Pre-K student at River Ridge Academy, was out for a stroll in the woods with her family. Suddenly, tragedy struck. Mirella was hit in the head by a falling tree branch. Her injury was so severe that she had to be airlifted to a hospital in Savannah. Although her condition is progressing daily, she still remains in the ICU with many tests yet to be performed to determine the long term effects of her injury. The Merrick family has many challenges ahead of them and we are raising money to help them with Mirella's medical expenses. We thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity.
