On May 1, 2025 our daughter Miranda had a traumatic accident at school resulting in her seriously fracturing her humerus above the elbow and damaging nerves which allows her to move her fingers properly. She immediately had surgery at the Children's Hospital to rebuild her arm with pins and she is in a cast for about a month. Although her pain has decreased, she will need therapy to use her hand properly once the cast is off.

Miranda is one of the bravest girls around to endure this type of accident with such grace. The amount of resilience she has is truly astounding and we are thankful her outlook is positive

We are reaching out to our community, network of friends, and family to ask for assistance with the large out-of-pocket expenses needed to cover her medical bills and subsequent therapy following this accident.
