Miranda Sterling

My name is Damion Sterling. On Sunday, April 16, 2023, my wife Miranda, two of our five children; Damion II(DJ) and DaRianna, and DaRi's best friend Madison Raye were in a terrible accident caused by an alleged drunk driver.

The accident tragically claimed Miranda's life, and seriously injured DaRi and Madison. DJ suffered brain trauma and is currently being cared for in Pediatric Intensive Care.

Miranda was my best friend, a devoted wife, and an amazing mother. She was the center of our family's everyday function. I am left with the task of continuing to raise our five beautiful children: MaRiahnn (19), DaRianna (17), Damion II "DJ" (13), Damion III "Drai" (9) and Elijah (13).

All of our children are incredibly gifted students and athletes. Our oldest daughter Riahnn is a college freshman, and DaRi will go off to college later this year.

All of this is still hard for me and my family to process. This creates an unexpected emotional and financial strain on me and my children. We need and would greatly appreciate financial support for our children's education, co-curricular activities, their physical and mental health as we allow justice to prevail.

My family and I are grateful for all of the blessings and outpouring of love shown to us thus far and will be forever grateful to all who are helping us to get through this very difficult time.
