Miranda "Randi" Welch's Recovery Fund

Tragedy hit home Monday night when one of our brightest souls, Randi, was involved in a horrific scooter accident in East Austin.

Randi is currently in a coma in ICU with two skull fractures, rib fractures, a clavicle fracture that will require surgery, temporal bone trauma, among a host of other complications.

Though we provide insurance for employees, the medical costs for recovery and whatever rehabilitation might entail are insurmountable, as well as an inability to provide basic living needs/expenses for themselves, ie rent, bills, groceries, Rita care etc.

Randi is a pillar in the community. A friend to all. They have the biggest heart and are eager to love, eager to share that infectious smile, and eager to be there for all their friends. If this was anyone else in need, Randi would undoubtedly overextend themselves to help. As Maggie and Tamara of CUC put it "They are everyone's biggest supporter."
