Miranda and Jorden Keller introduced their son, Jack Keller, to the family at the beginning of this year, and what a joy being new parents can be! So many memories have already been made, and so many are to come!
In recent weeks, Miranda has become ill. With her husband in the Navy, being a new mom, and being stationed in Guam, this caused some challenges to get answers. They have since been medivaced to Hawaii, where further testing found that she has acute myeloid leukemia. While this news is already a large stressor, being so far from family and living out of a suitcase makes it that much harder. The family is so blessed to have already had so many donations from families living on the island in Hawaii! Donations of breast milk and baby supplies for her 9-month-old have already helped greatly!
We are setting up this GoFundMe account to help with the cost of travel, lodging, and food for immediate family to be with them during this time to help with baby Jack and be with Jorden, her husband, as support. It will also go towards the cost of flights back to Guam for Jorden and his father to help get all their household goods packed up to move, as they will no longer be stationed on Guam. They do not have a definitive time frame as of now for how long they will be in Hawaii, but the goal is to get her stronger to be able to fly to the mainland and to find a home base cancer facility.
We would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support in helping this family tackle this challenging time and to help lift some of the burdens that may come along with the circumstances.
