Mirai’s Memorial Fund

On Monday, November 7, 2022, Mirai Takashima Yu unexpectedly passed away. With her passing, she took with her a piece of everyone’s hearts, including that of her loving husband of 13 years, Edson; their seven-year-old daughter, Hannah; her three sisters; and her parents.

Mirai had been feeling under the weather for about six weeks. The doctors never found out why she was feeling so fatigued and her condition worsened on Sunday. She was taken to the ER and then transferred to the ICU, where her tired body could no longer fight.

Mirai had the sweetest and purest soul. She was gentle, kind, and always smiling. Mirai was selfless and a most loving mother to Hannah. She loved Hannah with all her being, and dedicated the last seven years of her life to creating family memories and making sure Hannah had an incredible life.

This sudden tragedy has left Edson, Hannah and her family completely heartbroken. It has been beyond devastating for Hannah, who knows the time she was supposed to have with her mommy was cut too short.

100% of the donations will go towards an account for Mirai’s family to help fund her memorial arrangements as well as any medical expenses.
