Miracles for Reyna

Hi, my name is Julie and I am raising funds for Reyna Nieto and her family. Reyna was diagnosed with Sanfilippo syndrome in 2018. It is the same genetics disease that took the life of my nephew, Hunter, at a young age. There is currently no cure. It is a fatal disorder, in which children suffer from dementia, and lose their lives at an early age.

Reyna has recently been hospitalized and is going through many procedures and tests to see what is causing major symptoms-much like seizure activity. Her mother, her primary caregiver, does not get paid through IHSS while Reyna is hospitalized, despite the fact she is still with her 24/7 in the hospital watching over her and advocating for testing. Reyna's dad has had to miss work to care for their other children, take them to school, and travel back and forth to the hospital to see Reyna, and to take food to his wife. This has impacted the entire family financially, and I am hoping to raise funds to assist them during this time, so they can focus on time with their daughter, and prepare for her needs once they are able to return home. It is a very terrifying time for them, as they don't know yet whether this is the disease progression that rapidly started affecting Reyna in the past couple of weeks, or something else that is causing these frightening symptoms. I'd like to ease the financial burden so they can try to spend quality time with their child. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
