Miracles for Mike’s fight with Stage 4 Cancer

*Update*

It is with much sadness that I share this update. After a surgery to remove 70% of his liver and tumors in February, Mike has followed all protocols for follow ups and seeing his Dr’s regularly. Unfortunately they have recently found 2 more very aggressive tumors in the remaining part of his liver. He has been given 6-12 months. He has chosen to undergo high doses of radiation & chemo over the next few months to elongate his remaining time. 

We’d like to help him out of some outstanding medical bills and living expenses as he’s unable to work. It will also allow his wife Debbie to spend as much time with him as possible. 

A sincere thank you to those who have already donated, prayed, loved and supported him though this very difficult time and to those who will do so in the future.

Hi everyone! It’s Karen. I’m trying to raise funds to help my Brother in law out with medical expenses & living expenses since he was diagnosed with Stage 4 non small cell cancer in the upper lobe of his lung along with stage 4 neuroendocrine cancer in his rectum and liver in January 2023. In March, he underwent 2 Y90 radiation treatments for the liver tumors. They weren’t successful as the tumors shrank Alittle but still remain. He also underwent a right lobectomy of his lung.

In June, he had surgery to remove the rectum cancer but ended up with a colostomy bag. He is having a reversal surgery to re-attach his bowels to hopefully get rid of the colostomy bag next week.

In November the Cleveland Clinic wants to perform a very risky surgery on his liver and remove 50-70% of it to rid him of the cancer.

He has been off work since January.

He does get Disability but we all know that medical bills and household bills quickly pile up without a full income.

His wife, Debbie, is still working but has to take off lots of time to help take care of him.

He is in a fight for his life and money shouldn’t be one of his worries.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!

Let’s help him through the next few months with 2 upcoming surgeries & recoveries looming!
