As many of you know, my mother recently had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor that was found in her lung. Yesterday we received news that one of her lymph nodes taken out during the procedure tested positive for metastatic adenocarcinoma. Unfortunately this means her road to recovery just got a little longer and more difficult. As her son I hate seeing her go through this. What makes it even worse is when I have to see her stress about life events outside of the cancer. I hate writing about personal stuff online but I really was out of ideas and decided to try this. With what she is going through, I want to do whatever I can to help her be stress free and get her mind off some of the things that have happened to her in her personal life since her diagnosis.I wouldn't have even had a recliner for her to recover in and would have had to go buy a new one had it not been for you people out there willing to help out of the goodness of your hearts. Thankfully just so everyone knows she has insurance and although it doesn't pay for everything it has helped tremendously but still does not cover all of the massive cost. I put 10000 in the goal because there is no "goal" in mind as every dollar helps. I don't know what the future of these medical procedures will continue to cost. All I do know is how important it is to be positive when fighting something like this. I would be just as thankful to receive five dollars, one dollar,  or a thousand dollars as every penny of it will go towards making her life easier. Even if we only received five dollars total, I would happy to go buy her a Starbucks just to put a smile on her face because that is what she needs most right now.
