Our sweet little Malachi was born via emergency c-section with the umbilical chord wrapped around his neck and in the process inhaled meconium. Malachi was unresponsive for 4 minutes with no heartbeat and no detected breath. Thanks be to God and doctors Malachi was resuscitated and sent to the NICU where he is now being observed and is doing better than what doctors expected. Malachi is internally being cooled to 92 degrees, sedated, and intubated. Malachi is a true testament of God’s hand of protection. With all this being said Malachi’s sweet family has another little boy who has met his little brother in the NICU once. Malachi’s family is in need of love, prayer, and support. Financial, emotional, and spiritual support. Malachi’s discharge date is unknown at the moment which means his family is unsure of how long intensive care will be needed and what care will look like after. With this that means the costs of keeping their baby alive these first hours, days, and weeks is also unknown, but we know one thing that it will not be an easy amount to take on. We already know insurance will not cover one of the three ambulance transfers. We will forever be grateful to those who choose to support this wonderful family in their journey with baby Malachi.♥️
