The Zongker family was expecting their first born child in late May, but Madelyn decided she would make her arrival on a mid-February day. Now Tyler and Jodie have a very special Valentine of their own. After Jodie was admitted with preeclampsia they made the urgent decision to do an emergency C-section. Madelyn was born on February 14, 2017, at just 25 weeks gestation.
Tyler and Jodie know they have a long journey ahead of them, as Madelyn will need to spend three months in the NICU as well as numerous medical appointments once discharged. This can be overwhelming.
Though they are all doing well, we know they will need ongoing support from all of us. I ask that we all pull together and help this wonderful family in their time of need.
