Miracles for Carri
Donation protected
My name is Leah and I am fundraising for an incredibly beautiful human being named
Carri-Lynn.
Carri-Lynn is the epitome of “good hearted”, “selfless” and “love” in a world in which these qualities are such a rare find…
Carri-Lynn is a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter and friend. For anyone who has had the pleasure to meet or even get to interact briefly with Carri, they’d have to agree that it’s hard not to immediately love her. Devout in her faith, Carri lives her life for God, always displays an undeniable kindness and concern for anyone and everyone, even her playful sarcasm is delivered with a certain “childlike” innocence.
Carri shows her love fiercely and is always willing to help carry others’ burdens even if it would break her own back. I know that most say this about their loved ones, but Carri really IS a living angel. I’m writing this from the perspective of her trainer/coach of 7yrs, and dear friend. Technically Carri is not blood related, seeing her 2-3x week for almost 7yrs, just knowing her, and for the countless times she’s prayed for me or my children, offered her help, cleaned the sink and toilet while changing in my studio for her session (who does that?!), or even supporting me throughout every step of self employment, and NEVER leaving me; I am so moved to write this in her honor, with her spirit and with her love.
Carri is one of “THE GOOD ONES” and now she need OUR help.
On Saturday Feb 12, 2022 Carri suffered a brain aneurysm, underwent a craniectomy, is currently in ICU and has been mostly unresponsive since. Although she has had movements in her extremities and has opened one eye for only a minute, she has yet to fully wake up. The recovery is very promising, we are optimistic, but we need to be able to prolong her treatment as long as possible. Her husband and two sons (16 and 20) are a wreck and can barely function without her. She’s the glue in their family, their rock, their superhero. They NEED her. We need her.
We are reaching out to our friends, family and
community to please help share Carri’s story to help lead her to recovery. For those who know and love her and even those who don’t and are moved by this beautiful human, we’re asking for your help. Anything that you can donate to help manage the financial burdens accompanying her treatment is greatly appreciated. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
