Last Monday A mom, and her daughters, were in their trailer in Mt Airy, the husband, was at work, when firemen showed up and removed them from the house. The other end of the trailer had caught fire and they were unaware they were in danger. This family had already purchased another trailer (Water damage and almost a complete remodeling needed) in the trailer park and had begun renovations… in order for the trailer to be livable it needs… 1) ceiling repairs 2) windows installed 3) clean out damaged insulation/drywall and replace 4) flooring replaced 5) heat pump repaired… A LOT! Initially when I heard about this I said, “We can’t respond quickly enough… bad time of year… blah blah blah…” Over the course of the next few hours I felt increasingly compelled to do something! Then Eric Closs called me and said, “I’ve got to go over and look… something is pushing me to do this!” When Eric Closs went over a neighbor came out and asked why he was there. Eric said, God told me to help…” the neighbor said, “I’ve been praying God would send someone… and He sent you!” This family lost everything… The trailer they have requires a complete renovation… All appliances; cabinets; household goods; clothes; heat pump… The list goes on and on… A local organization has already contributed a refrigerator… A local company sent a crew this morning to do the demolition… So many people are becoming part of the miracle… Would you join us?
