Miracle child survives plane crash!

My name is Ivette Knowles, and this little angel is Mackenzie (Kenzie, as she's known to her friends and family). Kenzie is a sweet, funny, smart and simply amazing 9 year old girl. People often question the power of miracles, but I want to take a moment and share Kenzie's very special story with you. Last weekend Kenzie and her stepfather John were enjoying the afternoon together,  when their small plane went crashing into Lake Down in Windermere, Fl., nearly killing them both.  At the point of impact John broke his back, and Kenzie was strapped into the plane unable to release her seatbelt. With a broken back John was able to dive into the water, unbuckled the seatbelt, and bring Kenzie to the surface where he clinged on to her, waiting for someone to help them ! (Did I mention he had a broken back ?)  Lucky for John and Kenzie, there were two gentlemen fishing in a boat nearby. And thanks to them they were able to bring John and Kenzie to safety. Kenzie suffered major injuries including a cracked skull. John among other serious injuries, had a broken back. This is where the miracle starts,  when taken to Arnold Palmer hospital, her parents were informed by Doctors that,  Kenzie is the only child to have ever survived a plane crash there, thank God that the location of the crack in her skull was where it was, because it would not directly affect motor skills, speech or memory loss, and finally that the two gentlemen were there to help rescue them and get them to the hospital as quickly as they did. The Angels were definately protecting and guarding this duo. Kenzie is still not out of the clear  as she is being closely watched for seizures and any type of infections since the lake water is known to carry amoebas. The reason I'd like to raise this money is to help John  stay by his daughter's side and not have to worry about coming back to work until Kensie has the all clear from the doctors.   As a mother I can't even imagine what it feels to almost lose your child and by the grace of God get a second chance .  I know that I would want to spend as much time possible with my child protecting them, holding them, loving them and reassuring them that everything will be all right.  I ask that you please give as generously as you can I know that every dollar will make a difference.
