Help Miraclehill cover emergency Vet fee’s

Hey everyone

We’re reaching out with heavy hearts and unexpected expenses after a series of vet emergencies.

This is our first time our little sanctuary has started a GoFundMe, and it’s not easy to ask so directly—but we truly need your support right now.

Over the last few weeks, we’ve faced a string of unexpected emergencies:

Harry our wonderful ginger cat, & our toddlers very best friend, was first admitted mid June for an obstruction in his gut. He had several x-rays, flushes, medications & eventually underwent surgery. Our vet found a piece of foam floor tile (think kids playroom) lodged in his small intestine. He’s now recovering thankfully, but is still not home & his bill will be big.

Luigi, our loyal but cranky old man chihuahua who had late-stage heart disease. He had been given a 3mth diagnoses last spring after his annual heart scan by a specialist but he kept fighting until very recently when he declined rapidly. After discussions with our vet, we ultimately made the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye.

We just collected his cremation ashes today.

Our lovely Polish rooster, AJ, needed emergency eye removal surgery due to a ruptured eyeball & infected socket. We found a farm vet who was willing to help us after hours - his first time operating on a rooster, let alone removing an eye - but thankfully AJ made it through and is recovering here at home like a champ with lots of meds.

Strangely, he is our second rooster that needed an eye removed!!

Followers of our pages will know that our human family has grown recently, so it meant that we had to take a couple steps back. We now rely on one paycheck to take care of our 100 resident animals and are just managing with the regular feed/bedding/general upkeep but these unexpected Vet fee’s have mounted up rapidly and we are struggling.
