Michelle's Whipple Surgery Expenses
This is my beautiful mother, Michelle. She is the mother of three upstanding young men and myself, her only daughter. She also has three incredibly bright grandchildren who are always eager to spend the day with Nana. Plus, she has another grandbaby coming this June! Her Sundays are spent making dinner for the whole family to come enjoy and spend time together. During the week she works for a local pest control company where she has become a favorite among both co-workers and customers. Times have been tough for Michelle. She is recently divorced, and struggling to live paycheck to paycheck. Recently, she traveled to Baltimore, MD, to John Hopkins medical center, where lab results confirmed she has a pancreatic cyst. The cyst has a 70% chance of becoming cancerous, therefore a Whipple surgery has been recommended as the best chance she has to survive. If she doesn't have surgery, multiple doctors have told her she has less than three years left. The Whipple surgery is a very dangerous surgery that removes pieces of multiple organs and takes several hours to complete. Michelle works very hard, and her family loves her more than anything, but money is very tight. Multiple appointments, plane tickets, hotels, the surgery, and recovery are all costs that are already building up tremendously. Any amount donated would help bring peace of mind to our family during this stressful time.
